About Joy
One of my favorite sayings is “life begins at the end of your comfort zone” by Neale Donald Walsch. As a clinical social worker, founder of a non-profit organization for young adults, a Sacred Woman Collective branch owner (North Georgia), and an assistant swim coach at Brenau University. I am passionate about helping others to step out of the fears that limit growth and into a state of thriving. Life is for living fully, bravely, and authentically even when things don’t go according to plan and are challenging. Over my 30 plus year career an undeniable knowing has emerged. Healing occurs in community when people have a sense of purpose and belonging. Connection coupled with skills, tools, and resources, is the formula that I utilize when I stand with you as you orchestrate the changes that are meaningful and purposeful in your life. Thrive with Joy is a complimentary array of services that sit alongside my psychotherapy private practice enabling a truly holistic approach to growth and personal development. I also have extensive experience faciliating trainings, consulting with non-profit and for profit organizations within the helping and service fields. Making a difference is my passion whether through working with groups, individuals, or systemically.
